Wintry Mix - Invasion of Snow Men

Some "wintry mix" this has been - it started snowing some time this morning, and it's afternoon and still snowing. Veronica and Daddy got out to play in the snow. It was perfect for packing snowballs and making snow men. These gents have already been destroyed by local hoodlums, but they were fun to put together.

Veronica at least conceded to get back inside for hot cocoa before she becam a total popicle. :)

Peas in a Pod

Veronica and Alexander enjoyed each other's company over last weekend (and even shared their little pod..."the bathtub" as V would say...with a puppy named Bear and a blue-footed booby).

They have both been very sweet. Looking forward to another blustery weekend. So far, so good in the health department - no resurgence of colds or ear infections or chest congestions. Of course...mommy decided to break a toe last night! Funny, she feels like she has finally found a balance she has lacked all her life. The only other bone she broke until now was her other little toe!

Cookin' in Charlottesville

February 2007 - Charlottesville

This is a slideshow from our visit to Charlottesville over the weekend. There are also some pictures of baby boy who continues to grow and astound us. He has been doing much better now that he's on "baby Zantax." Turns out reflux has been a cause of his ear, nose, and throat congestion. He is moving on to solid foods (rice-oatmeal-sweet potatoe gruel is a fav), now if we can just get him to start sleeping through the night again!

Veronica has been a big helper, though. As you can see, she is getting pretty proficient in the kitchen. One of these days, mommy and daddy will be waking up to a full breakfast.
